Dulce is originally from Houston, but was raised in Mercedes Texas, located in the RGV. She graduated from Texas A&M University-Corpus with her B.S in Biology in 2019. Prior to joining NCAH in Oct 2022, she worked at a wildlife rehabilition center and no-kill animal shelter. She enjoyed her time there, but wanted to learn more about the veterinary industry.

Growing up, Dulce knew she wanted to help animals in any way she could. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know the patients and being by their side thru everything. She currently has 2 cats, Chapito & Husky Boy. In her free time, she likes to go shopping, watching movies, and hang out w/ family and friends.
